Choosing the right thing
Picking by age
6–10 works best with short, playful sessions. 11–14 can handle longer projects and real tools. 15–18 benefits most from workshop-style courses with direct feedback.

Ask about setupUsing past papers properly
Doing papers is not the same as learning from them. Mark your own work against the scheme, log every lost mark by topic, and re-attempt only the questions you got wrong.
